Welcome to the Vegan-Friendly List for: Madara! I’m starting a new series here on the LoveLula blog in which I introduce some of our most popular brands and let you know which of their amazing products are suitable for vegans. I’ll also be introducing some of our totally 100% vegan brands! We’re kicking things of with the fabulous Madara and fortunately, 90% of this brand is vegan-friendly and so it’s actually easier for me to list the products that AREN’T suitable for vegans.
Please note: This list has been compiled with aid of the brand’s own information and my own research. I can only confirm that it is accurate as of the date of publication. If you have any queries, please contact the brand direct or do your own research before purchasing.
At the time of publishing, according to the Madara website, there are only six products which are NOT SUITABLE for vegans. These are:
Time Miracle Repair Cellular Repair Serum (honey)
Deep Moisture Fluid (beeswax)
Daily Defence Ultra Rich Balm (lanolin)
Time Miracle Ultimate Face Lift Day Cream (beeswax)
Exfoliating Oil-to-Milk Scrub (beeswax)
Creamy Baby Oil (beeswax)
…all other products are vegan-friendly!
And from the massive vegan-friendly selection, I’ve chosen to highlight a few of my favourites. My absolute favourite product from Madara has to be the Brightening AHA Peel Mask. This mask is super effective at removing dead skin cells, brightening the complexion, and healing acne scars. I think that’s wonderfully active for the price point (£20), and although it can be irritating on the most sensitive of skins, it’s great for combo/oil skin that benefits from regular exfoliation. Madara do a great range of ready-mixed masks, but this one is my favourite. LoveLula also offer a trial size if you want to try before you plunge for the full size.
The Herbal Deodorant is a great option if you think that cream-based natural deodorants don’t really work for you. This product goes on clear, and so doesn’t leave any marks or residue on dark clothing. It also feels really lovely and cooling on the skin which is great for hot weather! The scent is light and non-offensive; a great first foray into natural deodorants.
Finally, one of Madara’s newest products – the Multi-Action Micellar Water – has been proving really popular and I can see why. Micellar waters are all the rage right now and they are great for removing eye makeup pre-cleansing oil or for a super quick and lazy full face cleanse. I wouldn’t use this everyday but it’s going to be perfect for travelling and the smaller 100ml size means that it can even be taken in your hand luggage for freshening up on the plane.
