These days, it’s a lot easier to find green and natural makeup that is also super ethical and vegan. Today I’m showcasing four vegan brands found on LoveLula. All of them offer lots of options if you prefer your makeup bag to be totally animal product free. PHB Ethical Beauty and Pacifica are both 100% vegan brands with a diverse range of products. PHB even offer a huge selection of pressed makeup if you find loose mineral products to be a little messy. RMS Beauty and Ere Perez are not 100% vegan (some products contain beeswax) but they don’t use carmine and offer lots of lovely products suitable for vegans.
First up in our vegan makeup bag is the PHB Ethical Beauty Botanical BB Cream. PHB are great as they offer a great range of vegan base products; BB creams, mineral foundations (loose and pressed), and even liquid foundations. All their bases come in a wide range of shades and you can even get mini versions of the pressed foundations if you wish to trial before you buy.
PHB also offer beautiful pressed blushes in a variety of shades (pictured is Peony). The cute white packaging even includes a great sized mirror for on-the-go touch ups. Not that you need to touch up… these blushes offer superb pigment and last all day. For highlighter, a great option is Ere Perez’s Versatile Vanilla Highlighter in Falling Star. This gorgeous rose gold shade looks fabulous on light to medium skin tones and doubles up as an inner corner highlight. Darker skin tones might want to go for something a little deeper such as the shade Sun Halo. Want a selection of highlighter shades? Check out Pacifica’s Radiant Shimmer Coconut Multiples.
Fix your brows with a quick sweep of Ere Perez Clear Mascara, and then highlight those peepers with some eyeshadow. RMS Beauty’s new pressed eyeshadow range offer lots of options for the perfect one-sweep smokey eye. If you’re yellow-toned, go for something warm and bronze like the Tempting Touch range. Cool-toned? Go for Garden Rose – the rosy pink shades will look AWESOME on you. The RMS Un-powder is also a great option for a 100% vegan setting powder. Finish the eyes with one of Pacifica’s brilliant mascaras. Aquarian Gaze is brilliant if you like your mascara to be waterproof and stay in place all day without flaking.
Time to finish off the look with a slick of lipstick. Pacifica has a small (but gorgeous) range of vegan lipsticks with rosy neturals as well as bright pink-reds. Pictured is Firebird, but Natural Mystic is another favourite. Lippy Girl are another 100% vegan brand with a huge selection of beeswax-free lipsticks, including this stunning purple.
