Dr. Hauschka Eye Shadow Palette

When I was asked to write the makeup section for the newly launched LoveLula blog, I knew this Dr. Hauschka Eye Shadow Palette was the first thing I wanted to share with LoveLula’s readers. If you only buy one palette, make it this one!

As a professional makeup artist and beauty blogger, I have been the owner of an eye shadow palette (or two) over the years! This is my all time favourite.

The palette includes four flattering matte shades. The neutral tones range from light beige to dark grey. These work equally well together or worn individually. Whether you’re going for a natural daytime look, or a full on smokey eye, this has you covered! It is one of the only palettes I have owned where I use all four shades. In fact, I have ‘hit pan’ in almost every shade!

The shadows blend effortlessly, with good colour payoff that last well. The light shade (Sand) is perfect to use all over the lid as a base before using the other shadows. It also works on it’s own to help brighten the eyes (this is the most used shade in my palette). The lighter brown shade (Light Brown) is the ideal shade to use all over the lid or as a crease colour to create a subtle contour to the socket line. If opting for a smokey eye, then shades Soft Grey and Anthrecite make the job easy.

Although I would recommend this palette for all ages, it is particularly good for more mature eyes. It’s unusual to find a palette free from any shimmer!

The packaging looks sleek and elegant and mine has withstood a fair bit of travelling. I believe it is well worth the £32.95 price tag. It is one of my hero products! You can buy Dr Hauschka Eye Shadow palette here.

Note taken! I have had and enjoyed a couple DrHauschka products (Rose day cream, I am looking at you here) but I am yet to get any eye shadows, and this is a push in the right direction 🙂 I have swatched them in the shop a while ago and can’t stop thinking about them, and that means only one thing, right?

Ooh, haven’t tried the Rose Day Cream. If I could only have one palette, this would be the chosen one!
